### **No-Bake Chocolate Biscuit Cake**

#### **Ingredients:**

– 200g (7 oz) digestive biscuits (or any plain cookies)

– 100g (½ cup) butter (melted)

– ½ cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)

– ½ cup powdered sugar

– 100ml (about 1/2 cup) milk

– 1 tsp vanilla extract

– A pinch of salt

– 100g (about 1/2 cup) chocolate (dark or milk, your choice, chopped)

– Optional: 50g (about 1/4 cup) chopped nuts, dried fruit, or marshmallows for added texture

#### **Instructions:**

1. **Prepare the Base:**

   – Break the digestive biscuits (or cookies) into small pieces. You can do this by hand or lightly crushing them in a plastic bag with a rolling pin. Set them aside in a large bowl.

2. **Make the Chocolate Mixture:**

   – In a saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter over low heat.

   – Once melted, add the cocoa powder, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir everything until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.

   – Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors.

3. **Combine the Mixture:**

   – Pour the chocolate mixture over the broken biscuits in the bowl. Stir until all the biscuit pieces are coated with the chocolate sauce. Add any optional ingredients like nuts, dried fruits, or marshmallows and mix gently.

4. **Form the Cake:**

   – Line a round cake tin or a loaf pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it with butter.

   – Pour the biscuit and chocolate mixture into the pan and press it down firmly to form an even layer.

5. **Chill:**

   – Place the cake in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or until it firms up completely (you can also freeze it for 30 minutes if you’re in a hurry).

6. **Serve:**

   – Once set, remove the cake from the pan and cut it into slices. If you’d like, you can drizzle melted chocolate on top or dust with powdered sugar for an extra touch.

### **Enjoy!**

This no-bake chocolate biscuit cake is the *perfect* dessert when you’re short on time or don’t want to use an oven. The texture is rich, with crunchy biscuit pieces blending with the smooth, chocolaty goodness. It’s a crowd-pleaser and incredibly simple to whip up!
