🍓 Fruit & Decoration

  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup strawberries, halved
  • Pulp of 2 passion fruits
  • ½ cup chocolate-dipped cherries or berries
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting
  • Dark chocolate star (optional)

Before You Begin
Every slice delivers crunchy edges, a marshmallow-like middle, and bright, tangy fruit.

🔢 INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 120°C (250°F). Line three baking sheets with parchment and sketch a circle on each (small, medium, large).
  2. Whip the egg whites until soft peaks form. Slowly add the sugar, one tablespoon at a time.
  3. Mix in the cornstarch, vinegar, and vanilla, and beat until thick, glossy, and firm.
  4. Spread the meringue onto the prepared trays, forming three discs sized like a tree. Create swirls with a spatula.
  5. Bake for 1½ hours, then turn off the oven and let the meringues cool inside completely.
  6. Whip the cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
  7. Place the largest meringue layer on a platter, spread with whipped cream, and add fruit. Repeat with the remaining layers.
  8. Spoon the passion fruit pulp over the top and tuck chocolate-dipped berries around the layers.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar for a snowy look.
  10. Finish with a chocolate star and serve right away or chill lightly before serving.
