Ingredients: 1 pound of pizza dough 1 cup tomato sauce 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, sliced or shredded Optional toppings: pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, peppers, sausage Instructions: Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat as well. On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll out the pizza dough into a large circle. Transfer the dough to a pizza pan or baking sheet. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Arrange the mozzarella cheese over the sauce and add any desired toppings. Transfer the pizza to the preheated pizza stone or bake it on the baking sheet for 8-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
