How to make apple and cinnamon cookies ?
Ingredients: 4 cups of flour ¾ cup of sugar ⅓ cup of yogurt ⅓ cup of oil 1 cup of butter 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp lemon juice Powdered sugar for decoration For the filling: 4 grated apples ½ cup of sugar 1 tsp cinnamon ½ cup of chopped walnuts Preparation: In a saucepan, combine the grated apples and sugar and stir over medium heat until the apples soften.
Add the walnuts and cinnamon and stir, then turn off the heat and set the filling aside. In a bowl, mix the lemon juice and baking soda and set aside. In another bowl, mix the butter, oil, yogurt, sugar, and the mixture of lemon juice and baking soda and stir. Gradually add the flour until you get a non-sticky dough, then cover it with plastic wrap and let it rest. Sprinkle a flat surface with flour, then roll out the dough and cut it into pieces. Add the filling to each piece, fold it, and place it on a buttered baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes until golden. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly, then decorate with powdered sugar. The cookies are now ready to serve.
