Mushroom Bruschetta

Mushroom Bruschetta is an original Italian dish that consists of toasted bread, usually made with sourdough or French baguette, topped with garlic, chopped tomatoes, black olives, and sometimes filled with sautéed mushrooms and garlic. It is served as a wonderful appetizer. Ingredients for Mushroom Bruschetta: Dry Italian or French baguette bread A pinch of parsley (1 tablespoon) A pinch of green thyme Salt/pepper 2 tablespoons of olive oil for the mixture Olive oil for brushing 200g fresh mushrooms 2 cloves of garlic 2 tablespoons of water (if necessary) Preparation method for Mushroom Bruschetta: Wash and peel the mushrooms, then slice them lengthwise. Finely chop the parsley and wash it. Crush the garlic with a little salt. In a medium heat pan, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and sauté the garlic for 10 minutes on low heat. If the mushrooms are dry, add a tablespoon of water or two when cooking. When the mushrooms are cooked, set them aside. In a bowl, mix the mushrooms, parsley, salt, pepper, and green thyme. Cut the baguette diagonally and brush with olive oil on both sides. Then place it in a baking dish in the oven. Leave it in the oven at medium temperature for 2 minutes, then turn it over and cook for another 2 minutes until it turns a light golden color. Rub the garlic on the surface of the bread, then brush it with the mixture. Serve it cold.
