How to make bechamel pasta with sausage recipe
1 envelope pasta of any kind
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
1 kilo of chopped sausage
1 grated onion
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
Shredded kashkaval cheese or mozzarella
To prepare the bechamel:
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup flour
1 liter milk
pinch of salt
pinch of white pepper
How to prepare
Boil the pasta in salted boiling water with oil so that it does not stick, then drain it well and set it aside.
Put a tablespoon of oil in a frying pan, add the sausage and fry it, then add a quarter cup of water, cover it and let it cook completely and remove it from the pan.
Add a little oil and onion and stir until golden, then add garlic and stir well.
Add the colored pepper and stir well together for a few minutes, then add the sausage and a pinch of salt, cover the pan and leave it on a low heat until cooked and the flavors mix.
We bring the béchamel in another pot, heat the oil, add the flour and stir until the oil is absorbed, then add the milk gradually, while continuing to stir.
Add a pinch of salt and white pepper and keep stirring until the béchamel texture thickens a little.
In a bowl, mix the pasta, half the amount of bechamel, half the sausage, vegetables and grated cheese.
Put the ingredients in a Pyrex dish, then put the rest of the sausage, and finally the bechamel and the cheese grate.
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees and put the dish in it for about half an hour, until it turns golden and the ingredients are cooked together.
Remove the dish from the oven and cut it so that it is ready to be served.
