here’s a simple recipe for slow cooker corned beef: Ingredients:

1 (3-4 pounds) corned beef brisket with spice packet 1 onion, peeled and quartered 3-4 cloves of garlic, minced 4 carrots, peeled and cut into large chunks 4 potatoes, peeled and cut into large chunks 1 head of cabbage, cut into wedges 4 cups of water (or enough to cover the brisket) Instructions: Rinse the corned beef brisket under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels. Place the quartered onion and minced garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker.

Place the corned beef brisket on top of the onions and garlic. Sprinkle the spice packet that came with the corned beef over the brisket. Arrange the carrots and potatoes around the brisket in the slow cooker. Pour enough water into the slow cooker to just cover the brisket and vegetables. Cover and cook on low heat for 8-10 hours, or until the brisket is fork-tender. About 1 hour before serving, add the cabbage wedges to the slow cooker, pushing them down into the liquid. Continue cooking until the cabbage is tender.

Once everything is cooked through and tender, remove the brisket and vegetables from the slow cooker. Slice the brisket against the grain and serve with the vegetables. Enjoy your slow cooker corned beef!
