Bangers and Mash recipe
: Ingredients: 8 pork sausages 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and quartered 2 cups water 4 tablespoons butter 1 cup milk salt and pepper to taste 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional) Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the sausages on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown. Meanwhile, place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash the potatoes until they are smooth and creamy. To serve, place the sausages on top of the mashed potatoes and spoon the pan juices over the top. Sprinkle with parsley, if desired.
