Broccoli cheese balls

Broccoli cheese balls are a delicious appetizer or snack made with a combination of broccoli, cheese, and other ingredients. They are typically formed into small balls and then baked or fried until crispy and golden.

Here’s a simple recipe to make broccoli cheese balls: Ingredients: 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed and finely chopped 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup bread crumbs 2 green onions, finely chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 2 large eggs, beaten Oil, for frying (if frying method is preferred) Instructions: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) if you prefer to bake the cheese balls. If you want to fry them, skip this step for now.

In a large bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, green onions, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. Add the beaten eggs to the broccoli mixture and stir until everything is evenly combined. Shape the mixture into small balls, about 1-2 inches in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. If you prefer the frying method, set the balls aside for now. If you’re baking the cheese balls, place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy on the outside. If you’re frying the cheese balls, heat oil in a deep pan or pot over medium heat. Carefully place the balls into the hot oil and fry them in batches until they turn golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried cheese balls from the oil and transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve the broccoli cheese balls while they’re still warm.

They can be enjoyed on their own or with a dipping sauce of your choice, such as marinara sauce or ranch dressing. Enjoy your homemade broccoli cheese balls!
