Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1/2 cup honey 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup ketchup 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tablespoon olive oil 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a bit of heat) Salt and pepper to taste 1 tablespoon cornstarch 2 tablespoons water Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, olive oil, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken, making sure it’s evenly coated. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the crockpot and shred it using two forks.

In a small bowl, mix together cornstarch and water to create a slurry.

Pour the slurry into the crockpot with the remaining sauce and stir well.

Cook on high for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and toss to coat it with the thickened sauce.

Serve the honey garlic chicken over cooked rice or noodles, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired. Enjoy your delicious and easy crockpot honey garlic chicken!
